Rc Crawler Course Ideas - First off, you will need some basic supplies. Im not a fan of great stuff foam. Aside from having fun, my sad little back yard crawler course gives me repeatable lines to run of varying difficulties, which allows me to judge the effects of my tuning. I have been searching around for ideas and materials for making scale courses and just thought id throw em out there for all to see. My plans are to have a course that is 18 wide and 8' long. I will be using a tlt size rig or smaller. Has anyone ever considered using paper/cardboard egg flats turn upside down as a crawling course material? Ok i was in my shop burning stuff and found that if you use a propane torch on some construction foam from lowes you can make some cool crawler course boards that can be put away and set up easily. I've seen the course pieces offered by losi and these look to be a good substitute and a lot cheaper. If you stacked two or more sheets together you could make taller hills and valleys.
